25 books in 2007
* = ones I haven't read before
Comment with any recommendations! I'll be sure to add them to my summer reading list!
oo1. Eragon By Christopher Paolini *
oo2. Eldest By Christopher Paolini *
oo3. Twilight by Stephenie Meyer *
oo4. The Dragonriders of Pern By Anne McCaffrey *
oo5. Tuck Everlasting By Natalie Babbitt *
oo6. Bloodsucking Fiend By Christopher Moore *
oo7. The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty: The First of the Classic Erotic Trilogy of Sleeping Beauty By Anne Rice *
oo8. Geek Love By Katherine Dunn (one of my all time favorite books!)
oo9. Blood and Smoke By Stephen King *
o10. New Moon by Stephenie Meyer *
o11. Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer *
o12. V For Vendetta by Alan Moore *
o13. Guilty Pleasures by Laurell K. Hamilton *
----------
Note: I'm not counting graphic novels, I know they're books, but I don't think it's right to compare them to full on novels. Plus, if I DID count them, I'd be well past 25 by now!

And, have you read the Graphic Novel "Blankets" by Craig Thompson? It's another one of my all time favs.

Date: 2007-06-03 04:21 pm (UTC)Rec's? hmmmmmm.........it's classics all the way for me (Dickens, Wilde, etc); but if you haven't already done so, read 'The Coma' by Alex Garland. I just finished it yesterday, and WOW is it ever a mindfuck. It's by the same guy who wrote the screenplay for 28 Days Later, so it obviously reads like it would make a brilliant film:P
